River's End Tackle is located in Old Saybrook, Connecticut and is a regular haunt of many members of the Connecticut Surfcasters Association. Store owner Pat Abate keeps his shop well supplied with both the old standard lures as well as many of the up and coming lures. It's a full service tackle shop which caters to plug, bait and fly fishermen who fish both salt and freshwater. There is also a large supply of rod building and fly tying materials in stock for the do it yourselfers and a wide variety of ancillary equipment such as waders, foul weather gear, nets, etc. All the employees are very knowlegeable when it comes to fishing and are always ready to share their knowledge.

From I-95 South- Take Exit 68, proceed under the overpass and keep to your left at the fork,before the stop sign. Take the left onto Boston Post Road and they are located on the left hand side at #141.
From I-95 North - Take exit 67, bear right off the exit ramp and take an immediate left at the first light onto Boston Post Road and they are located 1/2 mile down the road on the left.
