Improved Clinch Knot

IMPROVED CLINCH KNOT

Pass the line through the eye of the hook, swivel or lure. Double back and make 5 or 6 turns around the main line. Hold the coils in place then thread the end of the line through the first loop above the eye then through the big loop as shown.

Hold tag end and main line while coils are pulled up. Take care that the coils are adjacent to one another, not over-lapping each other. Slide tight against the eye then clip tag end.
