The picture above shows the front side of the clubhouse which faces the Vineyard. You'll notice the front porch on the far right where the members would gather on their rocking chairs to enjoy the scenic beauty which surrounds the island. Below is a shot of the back of the clubhouse. To the right is the area known as "the dormitory" which is where the bedrooms are located. There was no heat in the dormitory section of the clubhouse. The only heat in the clubhouse was provided by the fireplace in the sitting room and later, the fireplace in the "blue room" (the chimney to the left of the picture) which was added at a later date.
